Can't install Intel Wireless Display

I have a Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 12 Microsoft Signature Edition & I can't install Intel WiDi.
The software is posted on Lenovo's drivers page for my laptop but for some reason installation aborts.
I have all the required hardware to support Intel WiDi, which is:

- Windows 8.1
- Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260
- 4th gen i5 (i5-4200U)
- Intel graphics HD 4400

Any help is appreciated

I have already posted in Lenovo's forums to no avail, contacted lenovo's technical support also to no avail
