Can't Register Bitdefender Free

I just installed BD Free on a new install for a customer that always uses BD Free, but when I went to register I got an error message saying, "the connection to the server has failed, the product can not be activated". Everything seems to be working fine including BD updating, but there's only 29 days left. I went to the Bitdefender forum but that is useless. I tried it on an older xp I have and got the same message. Any ideas on what's going on ?

Is any other AV installed? If so, Bitdefender typically will fail to install or register (e.g., it hates Kaspersky).

Thanks for the help. There was no other AV installed but it seems that BD support took care of the problem. Thanks again.
