Can you go into the start menu and in the search box type msconfig and press enter. that should bring up system configuration menu. click on the startup tab, and look at all the items that are not checked. please upload screen shots of everything that is NOT checked, or type the startup item name here. I need to know everything that is not checked in order to rule out the software that controls those keys as being off. you can also click, ENABLE ALL, then click OK and restart your computer. This will re-enable any start up items that you previous accidentally disabled. your functionality might come back.
same thing with the services tab, click the services tab, click hide all Microsoft services (IMPORTANT,) do not forget to click hide all Microsoft services. same thing, screen shot to me the unchecked boxes, or write the names of them here.
you can also click enable all on this part and click okay and restart your computer.
this should bring back functionality. if it does not, we will need to re-install the software that is responsible for displaying the caps lock status on your screen.
