card cannot be accessed

My Canon SL1 will not read any SD cards old or new anymore after. It was working fine during a wedding. Card got full, changed to a micro SD card which didnt work. Tried to use another old card that had been in my partner's Nikon, it didnt work. Bought a brand new card, that didnt work either. Card with images from wedding broke in the slot on my MAC (after I got the images off) so im thinking maybe it was loose and pulled something inside the slot on the camera while it was ejecting. Can it be fixed?

It's pretty much impossible to break SD cards....

You should take a look at the SD slot carefully with a flashlight, there might be something stopping the card from properly making contact.
