I bought an ALDI Maginon "Action Video Camera" (from Australia) and its ok, claims to shoot 720p but its pretty grainy. Anyway it has a mic but in order to really use the camera (for a helmet mount) you have to put it in a "waterproof housing". It may be waterproof, but its also soundproof, so the mic is useless. I only paid $50 AUD for it, so it wasn't really a waste of money. Does anyone know of something that can record audio, as in a separate portable device, under $30? I may be able to budge slightly on that but im not fussed about the sound quality that much. Thanks!
