does anyone know of a place you can find cheap gaming laptop? ive checked craigslist but didnt find anything.

How cheap??

Look on ebay for starters.
Find a candidate in used condition.
Filter on completed auctions. In green you will see what such an item actually sold for.
Bid accordingly.

Newegg sells refurbished laptops, you might find something there.
Try Lenovo outlet.

You might want to try ebay to search for some decent deals.

I bought a refurbished Dell Latitude 3540 back in January 2014 for under $500; the laptop was refurbished by Dell so it had a 1 year warranty. It has an i5-4200u and Radeon HD 8850 (a little better than the more modern nVidia 940mx). It was a pretty good deal since a brand new Latitude 3540 with the same configuration was selling for $850 on Dell's website at the time when there was a sale.
