china mobile having no battery !!!!

I have an old mobile phone with good sound clarity but it battery got off and I dont find a good battery for the mobile. I wish to use it as a music player is there is any way to connect it to the external power supply ie. AC to DC adapter (I hear that some technicians uses external power source)

is the charges uses to charge the mobile battery can be used as power source... ???

is it possible to connect it to adapter then how much voltage is needed if there is any specific circuit is needed then when where i could get that... ?????

You might try online, including eBay, for a replacement battery. Where are you located? In the US, stores like BatteriesPlus may be able to find one.
Otherwise, a typical smartphone battery provides 3.7V. The charger for mine has a 5V output, so most likely I would not want to operate my phone without the battery as a "regulator" of the input voltage.
