Choppy youtube videos on Firefox and Chrome...

Hello, for the past weeks, videos on firefox AND chrome have been laggy and choppy, both video and sound. I researched on the internet, read thousands of posts, but nothing worked...I tried everything i can. Please, help me....Sometimes, the videos work just fine, but after a while they start lagging and lag my pc too. I am currently on firefox. Also, my pc is old, and i can't really afford a new one right now or update any drivers...Please, help me... :c

Might be your internet feed if both browsers doing it - check both and look at hardware acceleration if on, turn off or vice-versa and try, if it doesn't clear up either browser, might check for a newer LAN driver.
