chrome random crahses

For what ever reason my chrome keeps crashing to desktop at random time for no apparent reason. It will just say google chrome is not responding and give me the windowed text to close it down. I'm using a lenovo y50 which shouldn't matter but i have never had this happen to me before so not sure how to stop it

Start by doing a complete virus/malware scan or cleanup.

If after the virus cleanup chrome is still crashing do uninstall/reinstall Google Chrome itself. Also uninstall any toolbar that can cause issues with your browsers.
