chrome really slow,,

,also repeated flash problems......firefox loads in 7 seconds chrome takes 30 seconds.....this is recent... the last several months....no reply from google and the hardware acceleration tip only provides a small improvement,,,,,,,any other suggestions apart from switching to firefox
