Cisco agent thin app not working

I'm currently running sophos on my network with Fore scout. there's a thin app that a user is trying to run but it gets shutdown.

The app starts to show signs of life but after the badge disappears, the mouse shows the circle showing something is loading and then disappears. nothing happens.

What should happen is the app goes to a login window.

This is a windows 10 OS. It has worked before. We are also implementing MS SLAM for our AD structure. I don't believe it's a permissions issue because thin app should work with user permissions.

I've checked local logs but nothing seems to show up that I can see (cleared all logs then ran thin app)

My haunch is that this is being blocked somehow by sophos.

Any ideas other than what I have stated here would be appreciated.

By "local logs" do you mean Event Viewer on the Windows 10 OS system?

Reliability Monitor may provide some indication of what is going astray.

If you suspect Sophos are you able to create a test environment without Sophos? Idea being to either identify Sophos as the problem/problem source or eliminate it accordingly.
