Well, with the huge discussion that went on a few days ago about this
player, I was wondering if someone could give me instructions on how
to manipulate the Y-CR, C-NR, 3D Y/C, and SHARP settings. I can get
into the menu to see them but I cant figure out how to change the
settings.

Thanks

This is correct, press the "V-DNR 3D SELECT" button next to the power button
and select one of the memory selections. Then use the jog dial/wheel to
select the parameter and adjust it.

The interaction with every display will be a little different, but I
find that as a rule Y-NR should be kept lower than C-NR to avoid
smearing. 3D-Y/C I keep a bit above the mid-point on my LD-S9. I don't
have a Sharp setting; I'd imagine that is going to be like boosting the
Sharpness on your TV (i.e., it adds noise and edge enhancement), so use
it sparingly.

Thanks

I finally figured out I had to turn on that little jog mode button to
use the jog wheel:)
