Clevo P177SM (i7-4700 vs i7-4800)

Hi I’m buying a clevo P177SM with the following components:
-AMD Radeon HD 8970M 4GB DDR5
-Intel Mobile Core i7-4800MQ 2.7GHz 6MB
-2x Corsair Vengeance 8GB (16GB) DDR3 1600MHz
-Hitachi Travelstar 7K1000 1TB 2.5 7200rpm 32MB SATA3
-Kingston SSDNow V300 120GB SATA3

Can anyone tell me if it is a good configuration for gaming? I play a lot of league of legends and some COD. And I’m taking the master in computing (a lot of programing)
I want to know if it is a good configuration and if the i7-4800 is worth it, or if a i7-4700 is enough to me?

The specs it has on it now is OK. It should last you 5 years or more
