I'm looking to buy a laptop for college but I am not sure what to look for or what's good in today's market.
I already have a gaming PC so I am not interested in high performance and will most likely only be using it for school related work. Right now I am a little confused on what the differences and benefits are between a laptop, ultrabook, and chromebook.
I have a budget of $500-$600 and want to purchase a laptop that will last a good 5-6 years.
To further clarify, I am more interested in purchasing a ultrabook over a laptop. Is there any reason for me not to do this?
Edit: Not sure what the best brand is for laptops, but I would like either an ASUS or Acer unless something is better.
