My brother has an acer 5750g-2333g50mnkk and I was thinking if I can combine iGPU(i3-2330m) with dedicated GPU(GT 540m) so that when he is playing games, both GPU's work at the same time providing more FPS than just GT 540m
You can not combing integrated graphics with dedicated graphics on an i3. Mostly because you can not run both versions of drivers at the same time. The only processors that can crossfire with a dedicated gpu right now are the AMD A-series processors.
Lucid Virtu software can switch between GPUs in real time, it still doesn't allow you to run both GPUs at the same time. There's simply no way to do that -- it's one or the other.
Actually I've heard and read all over the place that you can combine them. So idk where you getting your info.
Years of personal experience my friend. I don't always need to look it up, it's already stored in my brain.
If you have read somewhere that it's possible, kindly post some links.
