Solved! Comparing my laptop to my desktop

My current desktop is really old: 2GB Ram, Intel Core Duo Processor, NVIDIA-GeForce 8500GT

What I'm asking is, will this laptop be better at gaming then my desktop AND is the laptop a good deal?

Although the HP one has a quad core CPU,but no it's not worth it because 720QM is slower in most tasks(except the ones that benefit from quad cores)

The Acer have better graphics. If you are gaming, graphics is more important, so go with the cheaper one.

The new amd fusion apu is good performance per dollar in your price range. I think it will run Crysis 2 in hardcore with native screen resolution.
