Computer hdmi not handshaking with computer

Ever since I had my computer repaired, I haven't been able to connect my computer to my tv (Sanyo) through hdmi. I don't have a moniter to list my specs or work it out through there. Every now and then I can get the handshake by random.

It was the graphics card. It had worn out from the constant switch of the hdmi cable. Got a new one

Get a new graphics card, works fine now.
