What are the conditions of a laptop battery that can still be repacked? If it indicates "0% available (plugged-in, charging)", does it mean it can't be repacked anymore? It's a battery for Sony Vaio Y series. TIA

If the battery in question is a replacement battery, it often will have a 30 day or 3 month warranty period. You might also want to see if you have BIOS updates pending for your laptop. You might also want to power down your laptop and let the battery charge overnight(8 hours or so).

This is all assuming you're working with a newly purchased replacement battery.
