conflict between laptop and photoshop

I currently own a brand spanking new Lenovo Yoga (one of those numbers that folds all the way back to create a tablet), it's a great machine except for the fact that i can't use the touch screen to interact directly with work spaces in Photoshop. I can use the touch scree to select different tools in the Photoshop toolbar, and I can draw directly into other painting programs like Microsoft Paint and Sumo Paint, but I simply cannot with Photoshop.

Is this simply an issue an issue of a setting in Photoshop? or a larger compatibility issue?
