I am confused between 2 laptops
1- Asus x555la :4gb ram,500gb,intel hd 5500 graphics
2- dell z565166HIN9: 4gb ram,500gb,amd a6 quad core
Which one to buy for college & gaming use ?
I would install only one game that is GTA 4

Solution
For gaming I'd highly recommend a dedicated GPU. Even a GT 920M or R7 M260 is far better than both HD 5500 graphics and R4 graphics

One of the biggest problems of dGPUs (besided poor performance) is that they utilize part of the RAM as VRAM, if that laptop has 4GB you will end up with 3.75GB as maximum due to 1GB is reserved for the iGPU so performance will decrease even more. Nowadays most of low end GPUs have 2GB of VRAM so you are ready to go with them even though you only have 4GB

this has a 940M and runs any game you throw at it

On top of that GTA IV is very bad optimized so it is likely thay any laptop with recent OS doesn't manage to run the game well, I had to...

You wouldn't get decent frame rates though. I can barely run cs go with it.

It's GTAIV - not even good video cards get discrete framerates in it because it's horribly written for PC.

I expect you'd do 30+ in medium settings on the HD5500.

So GTA V might run better than GTA IV
