Connect home theatre to satellite receiver

Got a Sony home theatre with 5 speakers and a sub, everything is working fine
However only the front speaker is working when connect to the satellite receiver through audio, I have connected the satellite video directly to tv and audio to the home theatre system.

Is it because the satellite receiver only output single channel audio? Any solution that I could get the sound to output on all speakers?

I don't even know which receiver and speakers you've got.

Read the manuals. They should tell you.

Not know what kind of connections you are using I would guess that if you are using analog left and right RCA connections one of them is bad. Try a different cable. Also try connecting the audio directly to the HTib and see if it works then.
You can try reversing the connections at the box. If it switches then the problem is in the sat receiver. Probably not something that you can fix in a menu.
