Connect PC with optical cable to speaker system.

I have a computer with motherboard Asus Z97-A and MSI GTX 970 GAMING 4G.
Now I am trying to plug it into my LG bd home theater HB405SU. I used an optical fiber cable and when I open the settings on the Realtek Digital Output(Optical). I can get sound from all speakers when testing DTS Audio and Dolby Digital under Supported Formats. However when testing normally or playing videos only the front works. What am I doing wrong?
I tried setting it to all kind of setting, but can't get something that works.

Would be great with some tips.

I have updated to all latest audio drivers for Z97-A

When you are playing a non surround sound stream or file you will need to select a different surround mode in the LG home theater such as Dolby Pro logic or movie.
