connect two 2.1 speakers together with a laptop

Hey guys
I have a question, am having two 2.1 speakers one is of ALTEC LANSING and other one is MITASHI both are externally powered speakers i.e. seperate adapters fir both of them to supply power.so the issue is if I use a 3.5mm splitter to connect both of them together will there be any reduction in voice quality or any other kind of disadvantage??

There should be no reduction in quality of any kind. I would suggest finding a splitter with gold plated connectors, as gold is a strong conductor of electric signals aka (Sound).
