connecting external speakers to tv

I am watching a movie via a pen drive in my samsung tv. but how to i connect my external speakers t the tv using RCA cables. please help

Newer Tvs may not have RCA or Composite out to connect. You will need to connect your receiver/Amplifier via an optical cable which looks like this

If your TV has optical audio out then you would need a DAC like this one

You would have to control the volume at the speakers since this output is fixed and is not controlled by the TV remote.
