Connecting Samsung Galaxy Y GT-S5360 to Laptop's internet (dongle).

I have connected my laptop to internet using a dongle. Now, I want to use this internet connection on my Samsung Galaxy Y GT-S5360 either wireless or through USB. Please suggest the detailed procedure.

The laptop would have to be set to share its Internet connection and the dongle would need to be capable of creating a visible network in the way that an internal wireless adapter does. I'm not too familiar with dongles but I doubt they can do that.

See, after hours of searching, I found this site 'virtualaccesspoint.com'. There I created an access point (SSID+Password), which was amazingly detected by my Samsung mobile (Galaxy Y). But the next problem was that I couldn't connect/browse the internet and my android apps (although I was connected to this created network excellently). And, I think that it may be the IP settings in my laptop and mobile which is the only problem to be solved. Please let me know your suggestions/solutions. Thanks in advance
