Connecting sub to my audioengine a2+

Hey guys,

here are what i'm working with:
audioengine a2+ speakers
polk audio psw110 10' subwoofer.
a RCA with red/white on both ends
maximus vii hero motherboard ( i put realtek setting to sterio (2.1 set up)

so far, i've connect one end of the white/red wire to my a2+ OUTPUT. then i connected the other end to my psw110 subwoofer's LINE IN. Then I took the 3.5 audio jack from my speaker and connected it to my PC.

but when i turn it on and play a youtube video, i'm unable to hear any sound from my sub

Have you checked the volume and crossover level on your sub? If either are too low you won't hear anything.

I've set my crossover at around 100, and I turned the volumn all the way up, but I still get nothing

Connect your sub to another source (the PC or your phone) to make sure that it is working. If the power switch is set to auto try the always on position.
If it works than either the cable from the A2+ out or the out itself is bad,
If not then the amplifier in the sub is most likely bad. Contact Polk. Usually they replace the amp. If you are not under warranty join Club Polk and you will get a better price and free shipping,
