Connecting third minitor to msi gt72vr dominator pro

Hi I was looking to connect a third monitor to my msi Laptop its a GT72VR7RE Dominator Pro-450US, I contacted msi support and they told me that it would not be possible because the type port at the back is meant for data transfer, but I'm still a little bit sceptical because I remember reading somewhere that I'd need a usb type-c to displayport and it will work, my point us, is it possible and if so, how

I understand its a different, laptop, but I mean its a lower spec graphics card 980M, but it seems that it was able to be achieved. Whats your take on that?

It isn't just the graphics card that is involved. However, if you wish to try doing it as suggested in that thread, there is nothing stopping you. I just don't think it would work on that device.

Yeah you know, I guess you're right about the graphics. But it would also be really nice to have another opinion.
