Question Connectivity Between Samsung TU7000 and Wired Bose Companion 2 speakers

I recently replaced my older Samsung 42" TV with a new TU7000 43" unit. I've managed to get things working pretty smoothly (Cable box, DVD player and XBox) but am having a problem with the external speakers. I had been using Bose Companion 2 wired speakers on my old unit and they worked very nicely. I am attempting to get them to work on my new TV but cannot ind the correct way to get the volume to work without physically turning the knob of the speakers I'm sure there's a relatively simple setting I'm overlooking, but it is doing a great job of hiding from my eyes!
