I would get the EVO 4G
The BlackBerry Tourch (9800)
The DROID X
OR
the Droid Incredible

Unfortunately though I have T-Mobile (because everywhere else charges more). So since that is the case I'd like to get the My Touch 3G Slide, but I don't want to be stuck with a data plan so I typically buy on eBay or from my co-worker.

Well, this week I thought I would jump off the Apple iPhone bandwagon and I purchased a Samsung captivate Android Phone. Needless to say it took me less than 24 hours to return the captivate phone and get my iPhone 4 back.

Sorry the Android experience for me was terrible. No Asian Language support for keyboards, fonts, or in the browser (isolated to captivate phone), terrible playlist syncing (isolated to captivate phone) and very slow processing. Did I want to risk going to Droid... NO.. I will not touch an Android based phone as a primary phone again.

Say what you must about the iPhone, but at least it has support and simply works ( minus the reception issue)

ZOMG, the reception (non)issue continues.

I love it how everybody knows everything ever said about the 4's antenna, but none of them actually own one.

Having had the 4 since release in AUS, i've never had a dropped call, or any reception issues.

On the plus side, every time i've called Apple i've got to speak to someone local in under 3 minutes. Not some noisy call centre in Bangalore where i can only understand every 3rd word.

Get over it.

Don't know what you non-iPhone 4 users are talking about. I got 3 iPhone 4 in my family plan and we've been using them trouble free for a month now. We just got our free cases so I don't even have to shell out $30 for it like most other smartphone users (how many people leave their phone naked?)

In 18 months I'll sell my iPhone 4 on eBay for about twice what Android phones will fetch and buy another iPhone. More phone for less money.

What an ignorant comment, maybe if you had of had it for a bit longer your iFever would have broke and your eyes would have bee truely opened to the brilliance that is android

The Reason iPhones will fetch more is due to the high demand from apple fanboys. It has next to nothing to do with quality, i could sell one of Jim Carry's leg hairs on ebay and it would fetch signifcantly more than your iphone, do you see what im getting at? Seriously though dont even try to justify using Ebay lol it fails every time.

So more money in my pocket = FAIL? Whatever you say smart handsome Android user.

[citation][nom]tayb[/nom]Who cares. If I was Apple I would never have even offered the case to begin with. If you don't like the phone reception please bring it back for a full refund. Raise your hand if you are going to return your iPhone 4? Thought so. People would rather moan and complain and file lawsuits than just take the device and get their money back.[/citation]

[citation][nom]viometrix[/nom]you my friend are an idiot!!!! i gues nvidia shouldve done the same with overheating gpus? or better yet toyota shouldve done that with their faulty accelerators? the fact is that if you release a defective product, you need to fix it, especially since the iphone 3 had no such reception issues. so in your eyes it is ok to pay more for an upgraded model and get less?[/citation]

[citation][nom]f-14[/nom]ya it's a great idea all the way up to the 4 year contract you signed to have at&t service the phone. go rethink that genius[/citation]

Guys, do not waste your precious words in a worthless troll. It is obvious the comment's tone is to annoy others. Do not feed trolls. The comment has Trollface all over it.

Nice to see crApple getting what it deserves. Hoodwinking technologically dumbed-down morons is easy, but that doesn't make it right.
