The "hacker" was theretaning me to get my kik account pass and username by saying hr/she will hack mr if I dont tell them. I told them something more better to equal so Im not sure if Im off thr hook so I need to be as secure as possible. I just cant download any more apps since they could've set a rootkit to see what Im doing so Im stuck . Is there a way I can indetify rootkits on mobile..? I really need some help cause my ping has actually reached 2000-3000 before so I assumed it was a dos or ddos attack.

Why would you need to change your external? I know you said 'hackers'....but what, specifically.

They might do it once. after that....they will look at you as the problem.

Its cause somone found out my ip and they claim to be a hacker. I just am trying to make sure everything is secure... I just dont wanna have to go through so much just cause of a person getting mad at me for no exact reason.

I don't wanna go through ddos attacks and the hacker gaining personal info

I have cableone and I've done it twice and they don't charge. The thing is that you're IP address might be dynamic and will change automatically.

Many people 'claim' to be hackers.
You can probably get it changed, but however the 'hacker' found it the first time...they will use that same avenue to find it a second time.
