Solved! Continious glitch noise from external speakers when connected to macbook pro

Hi All.

I found a really nice looking stereo system in my garage, Panasonic SA-PM22. Tried connecting it to my samsung galaxy note 4 through an AUX to RCA cable and it worked just fine. Then connected it to my macbook pro 13 and it began to output hellish noise the very moment I plugged it in the laptop.

Any ideas on what may solve this? Thanks in advance.

Fixed it myself. Connected to the speakers through a Focusrite Solo soundcard.
