ConvertXtoDVD 4 burnt video lags?

Hello, so I am burning a dvd for a friend and i am using ConvertXtoDVD 4 I had everything set to default and it burnt all the files. When I play the video in windows media player after like 2minutes it lags badly like the fps drops to 0.1 and keeps freezing. Any ideas on what went wrong? I don't have a dvd player to test it.
