Hello,
I want to purchase a dell inspiron laptop but I am confused between Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor ULV SU7300 (1.3GHz, 800MHz, 3MB) UMA GFX and new processor Core i3-330M(2.13 GHz/4 Thread/3MB) at the lesser cost than Core 2 duo make me confused??

As I found Core i3 have new technology of 4 Threads but FSB(Front Side Bus Speed) is not indicated(given) in intel site....

What should I opt Intel Core i3-330M or Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor ULV SU7300 UMA GFX ???

A quick Google search for "i3 330m front side bus" shows it at 1066 MHz FSB, taken from tech specs of Gateway laptops (lol).

What are you going to use this laptop for? Do you want to carry it unplugged for extended amounts of time?

The Core 2 Duo ULV processor allows for longer battery life, but at the cost of performance. It can't compare in performance to the Core i3-330M with its higher clock speed (2.13 vs 1.3) as well as the hyper-threading.
