Corner of my laptop screen is slightly more white/grey

Hi,

I have a Lenovo Y50 and I just noticed today that the left corner looks slightly more white compared to the rest of the screen. I was loading a game which had a black loading screen and I noticed that the left corner was a bit grey compared to the entire screen. I can reproduce this effect anywhere if I press/put pressure on the screen. Does this mean that the left bottom corner is always pressured by something?

That would be my guess as well. You could try removing the bezel to check it out. Is it under warranty?

Thanks for replying. I believe it is still under warranty however, the problem isn't bother me all that much. It's only noticeable if the screen is dark enough. I'm just worried that the problem might get worse or that the constant pressure might damage the screen eventually. Do you know if it might have any long term effects?

I doubt it. If you don't feel comfortable removing the bezel. I would just leave it alone. Keep an eye on it as well as the warranty date if you can figure out what it is.
