I have a toshiba laptop I can hear it running and the green light is on but the screen is black. It worked perfectly until this morning. I didn't shut it down I just closed the laptop. Could anyone help, please!

Hi, try this, remove the battery and unplug the adapter, hold the power button for one minute, reinstall everything and starts the laptop.

Have you tried holding the power button down for about 4 seconds until it shuts off and then restarting it?
