Counter Strike 1.6 Lag

Hi,
I play CS 1.6 with my Toshiba NB200. It has 1.6 Ghz intel atom N280 CPU, 2GB DDR2 RAM, Intel GMA 950 GPU. I saw on game debate about requirements and my system meets the recommended requirements even for ultra settings. But my game goes to 1-17 FPS and unplayable. I play on online servers. The Intel GMA 950 is not a 3d accelerator card, it's merely there to display your desktop. I'm surprised you're doing as well as 17fps.

it's simple enough to check, lower the settings, see what fps you get.

Are you sure? I have played and completed GTA vice city with this system. Also see these screen shots. FPS meter is on bottom corner:

On low settings player uses gun on left hand, very annoying to me . It also lags on low as well.

Also is it possible to upgrade/replace GPU? Is there any alternative without removing previous one? Such as by externally connecting GPU and making it work? Possible?
