CPU Cores Confusion...

I heard that we could unlock an extra core with the Phenom II X3 from AMD, but I am asking could we do the same with an Phenom I X3 Triple-Core, because I have an Phenom 1 With 3 cores and it would be really nice if i could unlock an 4th core...

this is the next generation from Athlon X2 processors, your phenom cannot unlock core to X4
