CPU upgrade: Toshiba Satellite A100-208

hello everyone

hoping to get some help here...i'm quite unexperienced in this matter. I have this outdated laptop

Toshiba A100-208
motherboard ATI sb450
CPU Intel celeron m 380
socket mPGA479

wanted to upgrade the CPU to an intel core 2 duo but don't know if they are compatible with my MB's socket...
if so, which ones are compatible...wanted to upgrade to the best possible

Hi, ive actually the same issue with a100-529, same motherboard. I checked whatever i could google. There is rumor you can run core 2 duo but i wouldn't count on that. More likely pentium M 780 i probably max what we can put in. Anyway ill try to fix one in tomorrow at work so ill let u know how it went unless i f** it up cheers
