Cracked screen and system update

My Asus laptop has a cracked screen so I connect it to my tv when using it. I just tried to install a game and it asked me to restart it. One it turned back on, the screen never showed up on the tv and I can't see anything because if this system changes. It's not the game note the hdmi cord. It's the system update the computer did that is causing it. What can I do manually to get the screen to shore up again?

Hold down the windows key, then press 'P' a couple of times.

Hold the Fn key and tap F8 for most Asus notebooks. The F key will have two monitors on it.
