Question Crackling on 5.1 setting, delay on Dolby Atmos setting

So my setup is PC HDMI -> Samsung Q60A TV -> HDMI ARC to Visio 5.1 soundbar

When I have the PC set to 5.1 or 7.1 audio, every 5 minutes or so the audio starts to crackle for about 10 seconds. This happens every 5 minutes without fail. I have tried turning off fast boot mode for my PC, changing the bit rate between 16 and 24 bit and also changing between 44k, 48k, 98k, and 192k hz which all have this same issue. When I change the PC settings to Dolby Atmos for Home Theatre, the crackling disappears but there is an audio delay. At first, there is no audio delay and it is perfect, but after about 10 minutes the audio will be delayed by 1ms and will increase in delay by 1ms every 10 minutes. I can reset the delay by swapping to 5.1 and back to Dolby Atmos every 10 minutes which works but is annoying.
Anyone have any idea what’s going on here? I assume it has something to do with the amount of data being processed and passed between the devices, but I’m not an audio guy so I’ve got no clue. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.
