creating 4.2 surround sound from desctop

Is it at all possible to have 2 stereo cables going out from the computer, one for the back speakers and one for the forward once, creating a 4.2 surround system as both sounds systems are 2.1 atm.

We need more information on your setup. What type of speakers, mobo sound or sound card and etc. Yes it is possible depending on what equipment you have.

technically yes it should be possible but i'm not going to guarantee that it will sound all that good.
