Hi guys,
I'm looking for a gaming laptop.
Budget: $2,500-3,500.
Size: 15'' preferably, 17'' at most
Screen Resolution: Preferably 1920x1080, can go a bit lower
Portability: Looking to make it as portable as possible. I'm going to be carrying this thing around a lot.
Battery Life: Minimum 4 hours
Gaming: I'm a heavy gamer. I don't need SLI or the absolute best, but if I could fit in a 580 or similarly AMD, I'd be very happy.
Tasks: Gaming, word, some 3D stuff, photo editing and maybe some video editing.
Storage: Would like an SSD as primary and HD as secondary, don't need raid.
I plan on keeping the laptop for 4 years, also I live in the U.S.
I was looking at the Vaio Z, my only concern is the very weak Powerdock. The other brands I'm considering is Falcon Northwest, Eurocomm (the Racer- but I heard battery life sucks), and Maingear. I'll consider anything really, as long as they're reputable. Also, I'm considering waiting for the next series of GPU's. The latest I could buy this is in July.
Thanks guys.
