Cutting corners

I am trying to put together a video DVD, but I am just a bit over the limit. We're talking close, here - the disc holds 4438 MB, and I'm at 4481. I don't want to cut even a second from what is on the disc (I've already done more cutting than I wanted to). Is there a practical way for me to compress the video just a hair, so that I can squeeze under the limit just a hair? I should I just try to overburn the DVD?

Women--can't live with them, can't have heterosexual same-species intercourse without them.

Output the result as a disk image, use dvd shrink to have it fit on the disk. I do that sometime..
