Decent laptop for gaming?

I want a decent laptop to play overwatch and maybe a 6+ hour battery when using it lightly (web browsing, etc). Any recommendations? Price range under $1300. Thanks.

You could be more specific with what you want, you can get a lot for that laptop.

How would you want overwatch to play? On ultra settings with 60+FPS? Or settle for medium/low settings with 30+FPS?

With 1300, you could easily get a GTX 1060 which would have no problem handling OW at max. And it will also handle any other current game at least at decent settings.

If gaming in general is not of big importance.. GPU benchmarks show that even an integrated GPU can handle OW at low settings. That could either bring down your budget significantly or get you a really nice quality laptop with all the bells and whistles.

I’d look for a GTX 940/960, MX150, or GTX 1050/ti. Anything more than that is overkill to play OW on. You can get a really nice 1050ti laptop, with good storage, good processor, and a quality build for $1300 or less.
