Deciding gaming laptop brands

Im looking for a gaming laptop for under 1500 dollars,
I was wondering what brands you guys would recommend. I'm looking at the MSI GX70 Destroyer-229 but have no experience with MSI.
I'm also looking into Lenevo but have no idea which one to choose.
Am I better going for a site like Ibuypower.com or alien ware.
The main thing I will be doing is gaming like CSGO and BF4.
I feel so lost with all my choices. I would like to have an optical drive to watch movies and install software. I would also like at least a 15in screen and 1T hard drive

Whatever you do, don't get alienware. Yes, the lights are pretty, but the specs are low for the price. My $600 hp dv6 has simmilar specs to a $1100 alienware. Also try asus, they have some good gaming laptops.

Yea as far as brands go, its either MSI, Razer or the Asus ROG laptops (i like the rog ones because they're not bulky pieces of cheap plastic) and they have pretty decent specs...Alienware does make some pretty decent machines when it comes to laptops...these are supposedly some of the best out there http/uk.pcmag.com/laptops/6014/guide/the-10-best-gaming-laptops
