I'm trying to decide between some different laptops and I'm hitting a wall regarding video cards. It all comes down to whether I should buy a laptop with a low grade Nvidia (610M) or the integrated Intel HD 4000.
I'm looking at Asus laptops, used mostly for surfing and streaming, light gaming (TF2 and Minecraft), and lots of audio editing and recording. Core i5 with 6+GB RAM.
Is there a significant performance upgrade from the Nvidia (dedicated) and the Intel HD 400 (integrated)?
Because there's a huge price difference.
Thanks,
Tristan

You won't really notice a big performance difference with the 610M, especially with TF2 and Minecraft. If you really want a smooth gaming experience, look for something a little higher.
