Del inspiron N4050 shutdown when using high proformance games, specially in a hot weather

I have a dell Inspiron N4050, with AMD Radeon HD 7450M switchable graphic card.
It used to work fine , when I play games but after I loaned it to a friend of mine, now every time I open a game that needs performance the laptop just shutdown, no messages , no warning no nothing. specially when the weather is hot.
I'm not sure what to do please advise me

Open the case, clean it out, remove the heatsink and fan, apply new thermal paste, put thing together, should work better if the issue is due to heat, which it looks like it is from what you said happens.
