Dell 5520 i5 web cam quality

when i use skype, my partner says video quality is below average .is video quality of dell i5 poor compare to other competitive web cams or by changing web cam setting can increase web cam quality

Not sure about the quality of that camera but, your upload speed and his download speed have quite a lot of impact on image quality. Buying a 300 dollar webcam won't fix laggy internet, if that is indeed the problem.
