The green LED indication light on my Dell laptop adapter is not ON when connecting to AC power outlet and laptop is not being charged. I purchased my Dell Inspiron 3000 series laptop three months ago and I rarely use my laptop. Is there any warranty coverage on the adapter? Is it repairable or have I to purchase a new one? After the problem is solved, is there any chance to happen the same problem again? What to do now? Please suggest.
If you bought it from a reputable company or straight from dell the adapter should be covered under the warranty. We give our customers 90 days on the adapters and swap them for a working one if they come up bad. It happens sometimes... I can't say if it would or wouldn't happen again.
