E5530 no POST, no video, no beeps. Just Power Light and Battery charge lights. no flashing anything else. Tried swapping RAM, HDD, Battery, no change. Did discharge technique, nothing. If I press D while powering up, screen goes thru self test so it works. I can get it to work "sometimes" by playing around, opening closing lid, taking battery out then it just boots up. Thought originally it was cables going thru hinges, but wouldn't that create beeps if no display? Also, when it does not boot I can restart with D and see the self-test so that rules that out. If I remove memory and HDD still no beeps. Can't believe it's a MB issue cause when it does boot, it works fine for hours. Not in warranty so dell is no help. I'm stumped.
Should note that an external monitor does same thing, but since it is not getting past POST that would not work anyway. Thanks in advance
